Rudy Aittama is 96 years old. He was raised on a farm in Lake Lindon, Mich. Rudy chose not to go to high school and work on the farm with his family before being drafted into the army in 1943. Rudy was a prisoner of war and fought in the Battle of the Bulge. Upon his return to the U.S., Rudy completed high school and got his diploma. He later fixed watches for a living and worked for the post office. He later moved to Milford, Mich. where he retired. Rudy’s secret to living longer is to always enjoy life and appreciate what is around you.
